An oasis of peace and history in Buenos Aires, ArgentinaI was born 2 miles from Teresita B&B, a had not returned to the country for over 40 years. I knew that Buenos Aires and its environs would have changed beyond recognition, but was astounded to find an oasis of peace and history in Teresa's lovely B&B. There are shady cobbled streets, local shops, wonderful cafes and restaurants a few blocks away, and all in a safe and peaceful place. Much has been written about the little house and the facilities, the welcome and help that is given to the traveller - we agree with it all. The second we got there we felt at home. Altogether we spend 10 days in Casa Teresita. The best thing, apart from the wonderful hospitality, the superb breakfasts, the knowledge and helpfulness of Teresa and her family is the opportunity Teresita's gives the traveller to rest and relax from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, yet knowing that the attractions of the bic city are less than half an hour away. As I said to Teresa and her family - we were very sad to leave and we WILL be back. Muchas gracias Teresa. Ian and Liz Jones |
